The Demonstration Garden is a collaborative effort involving volunteers, money from a Metro Community Enhancement Grant, staffing from the OSU Extension Urban Horticultural program, and land provided by the owners of Singer Hill Cafe.

The Demo Garden is located behind the Cafe on a 7,000sf lot.

The mission of the Demonstration Garden is to engage the community in urban agriculture by creating programs to recycle local restaurant and neighborhood waste into bountiful food production in an aesthetically pleasing setting that affords both educational and tourism opportunities.
